Hot Saturday lie-in

Having a great Saturday morning lie-in, after the Mr Gay Boy 2011 pre-judging which took place at our guesthouse in Durban last night. Some great contestants, with the finals taking place at Durban's gay club The Lounge tonight.

It's also the Indaba Tourism - Africa's biggest show - in Durban this weekend, so hectic time at the guesthouse.. 14 000 delegates in Durban in the hospitality, tourism market.. and plenty of gay guys. Woo hoo!!

Hot Easter in Durban

Mr Gay World 2010

I promised you a photo of Mr Gay World 2010 when he visited our Guesthouse on Sunday... so here he is, South Africa's own Charl van den Berg, winner of the Mr Gay South Africa pageant who went on to scoop the world title in Oslo earlier this year.

Charl attended a cocktail party we held on Sunday in honour of the new Mr Gay South Africa finalists vying for the title at the end of this month.

Wake up call

This is the way to wake up.. a morning dip in the pool (remember it's summer here) and it's Monday. We had an awesome weekend here at the Guesthouse in Durban. I even got to meet Mr Gay World 2010, South Africa's Charl van den Berg. Will post a photo tonight when I've had a chance to upload it.

And just found a naked pic of Benjamin, one of my favourite models.



Prince flies the flag

We recently held the Provincial finals of the Mr Gay South Africa Pageant at our Guesthouse here in Durban and the organisers asked me to take some pics of the 1st runner up - Prince - for the underwear sponsors Bonewear.

So I was on the roof of the Guesthouse today and took this pic of Prince as well as quite a few others around the house, outside shower and jacuzzi.

KZN Winner Jared

Here's Jared, winner of the Mr Gay South Africa provincial finals held at our Guesthouse in Durban last night - this means that Jared goes forward as one of 12 finalists in the Mr Gay South Africa 2010 Pageant to take place in Pretoria later this year. The 2009 winner, Charl vd Berg went on to become the Mr Gay World in Oslo earlier this year. 

Hot in Durban for the World Cup

If you've been watching some of the World Cup football, you really should have been in my home town Durban, on the sunny east coast of South Africa where some of the best teams have been playing. Check out my Gay Durban blog for some of the hot gay happenings in Durban or my World Cup blog for some of the non-gay fottball scenes around the magnificent Moses Mabhida Stadium which opened in time for the World Cup. Tomorrow see the Round 16 game Netherlands vs Slovakia here.

World Cup Football in Durban

With the World Cup Football taking place in South Africa and in our city of Durban, on the sunny east coast, here's Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo who also plays regionally for Spain. Spain lost 0-1 to Switzerland in an amazing shock result here on Wednesday, much to the delight of the Swiss fans who had flocked to the new Stadium in the city. Portugal plays Brazil in Durban on the 25th June and I have tickets to the game.

Mr Gay Boy 2010

Congratulations to Ben, the new Mr Gay Boy 2010 crowned at The Lounge gay club in Durban last night. Ben won some fabulous prizes including cash sponsorship from Durban View Gay Guesthouse.

We get to shoot hotbod Tyrone

At the Guesthouse this weekend we were delighted to have the opportunity of photographing Durban model Tyrone Nell in a cover shoot for Spartacus International Gay Guide. In the photos Tyrone hots up the scene under the outside shower at the Guesthouse and enjoys a drink with Guesthouse co-owner Llewellyn in the house bar.

Hot Cape Town Pride

Here are the few pictures I promised you of our weekend in Cape Town. It was Pride 2010 and I took a few pics of the floats and the hot guys. We also spent a glorious afternoon on Clifton 3rd Beach (the Gay Beach in CT) so here's a couple of beach bodz too, including my partner Llewellyn (black speedo below).
