It's time to play. We catch a flight this afternoon to Johannesburg then on to Frankfurt and Copenhagen to board an Atlantis Gay Cruise from Copenhagen to Estonia, St Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm and then gay Pride in Amsterdam... so it's time to party and play... will try and keep you posted.

KZN Winner Jared

Here's Jared, winner of the Mr Gay South Africa provincial finals held at our Guesthouse in Durban last night - this means that Jared goes forward as one of 12 finalists in the Mr Gay South Africa 2010 Pageant to take place in Pretoria later this year. The 2009 winner, Charl vd Berg went on to become the Mr Gay World in Oslo earlier this year.

We are going to have a hot weekend at the Guesthouse in Durban with the KZN Provincial finals of the 2010 Mr Gay South Africa pageant.

It kicks off on Saturday with 9 finalists two of whom will go forward to the Mr Gay South Africa finals later in the year. Our last year's winner, Charl vd Berg went on to win the 2010 Mr Gay World competition in Oslo.

Happy 4th July - and 400 000 hits with 400 posts for this blog. Thanks to all of my readers, it's an impressive number to achieve and has sure been fun.

Hottest German

Not the hottest bod in the world, but Germany's footballer Podolski has everything to be proud of with Germany's (4) win tonight over Argentina (0) in the World Cup quarter-finals in South Africa.

This brings Germany to my home town, Durban, for the semi-final next week against Spain. We had a house-load of proud German fans at our Guesthouse here in Durban for the opening game against Australia and they will be back for some more fun in the sun hopeful of making it to the finals. Spain also played in Durban in the earlier round when they lost to Switzerland.
